FieldForce has implemented more than 50 SFA projects in some 10 different countries. Key to successful implementations is FastTrack and FieldInformer being standard products. This has made it possible to standardize implementation procedures and methods. FieldForce has developed a set of tools to ease implementation. These include standard interfaces among others.
Customer requirements and needs are met via configuring the system. Further the customer can choose between several optional modules. It is easy to pick modules and to configure FastTrack. All modules need not to be chosen at once. Instead, the idea is to add functionality gradually as the users become more familiar with the system. Different users can further have a different set of modules and also they can have different user profiles authorizing them to do different things with the system. All this contributes to making system implementation easier and quicker (when no tailoring is needed).A typical Sales FastTrack implementation project in a 30 person sales organization takes from start to going live approximately 3-4 months and the implementation can be made in a total of 150-400 hours.
Often we suggest a target price approach for the implementation. If target hours are exceeded then the extra cost is split and respectively if target hours are not reached, then the cost saving is split. This motivates both parties to make realistic and accurate project plans.
